Presented is a neat Zuni Amerindian/Native American sterling silver sun mask
bracelet. The bracelet features three circular sun face masks, inlaid with
mother-of-pearl, turquoise, coral, and onyx. Each of the masks is surrounded by
small round pieces of turquoise and silver bead designs.
The bracelet is in great overall condition. There is some visible epoxy along
the underside of one of the masks, possibly a repair or reinforcement, but we
aren't sure. Whatever the case, everything is strongly soldered and well
attached. The stone inlay is in good shape, with no chips, no breaks, and no
losses.
The bracelet is not stamped or signed. We have tested the piece and it is
guaranteed sterling silver.
The interior circumference of the bracelet is about 6 1/8 inches, so it will
fit a wrist of about 6 inches or smaller. The gap between the ends of the
bracelet is about 1 1/4 inches, but the design of the bracelet is such that it
is slightly flexible and can be adjusted somewhat.
The bracelet weighs 31.1 grams or 1.1 regular ounces.
