Presented is a wonderful diamond and amethyst 14K gold ring. The amethyst is a very large stone, with great color and very nice clarity. In person, the amethyst's color is a shade darker than in the photos. The pink cast in the
second photo is not typical, as it is from the stone catching the light at an unusual angle. The amethyst measures 14.3 by 10.3 millimeters and is 7.2 millimeters deep. We estimate the amethyst weighs a total of 5.68 carats.
Around the amethyst are a total of 26 diamonds, channel set and prong set. The total diamond weight is about 30 points or 3/10 carat, with SI-2 to I-1 clarity and good H-I color.
The ring is marked on the inside of the band with 14K and CID for the maker. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold.
The condition is excellent. The amethyst is in great shape, with only very very mild surface abrasions. You would need a 10x power loop to see them. The stones are all well set and in good condition. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, and no repairs.
The ring is a size 7. It can be sized up or down.
