Presented is a gorgeous, platinum bar pin made during the first quarter of the 1900s. This early 1900s pin is set with two diamonds at the ends and two diamonds in the middle. Between each diamond is a delicate wire strung with six small, natural pearls. The top portion of the pin is solid platinum and done in filigree wire form. The clasp of the pin is done in deep yellow 14K gold and fastens with an clasp. The diamonds have wonderful F-G color and VS clarity.
The stones are all 8 points each for a total diamond weight of 32 points or 1/3 of a carat. These are very good stones. The clasp is marked 14k for 14K gold. The platinum filigree bar is not marked. This piece has been tested and is guaranteed to be platinum with a 14K gold clasp. Almost all of the weight and metal in this pin is platinum. This piece is in fabulous overall condition. The diamonds have no chips. There are no missing pieces, no dents, no breaks, no splits and no repairs. The pin measures approximately 2 3/8 inches long.
