Presented is a splendid, 18 karat yellow gold and carved shell cameo brooch/pin or pendant. The back of the pin has a hinged bale/loop for hanging the piece as a pendant. The center is bezel set with a hand carved, shell cameo of a young woman and flower. The setting has a thin, twisted gold wire rope around the cameo. The clasp has a safety latch for added security.
The back is marked 750 for 18 karat gold purity.
