Presented is a vintage Taxco Mexico sterling silver brooch or pendant dating to the mid to late 1900s. The abstract art pin is done in a swirled, zig-zag type of design, emulating the iconic piece designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co. There is a hoop on the back, so that the piece can be hung from a chain as a pendant. The clasp has a rollover safety clasp.
The back is marked Mexico, with government registered maker's mark, and 925 for sterling silver purity.
