Presented is a vintage or retro sterling silver and amethyst jewelry set made in America between the 1940s and the 1960s. This mid 20th century set includes a pair of screw-back earrings and a matching pin or brooch. Each piece is designed in a leaf and branch form, securely prong set with oval cut amethysts to represent the "flowers" on the branches. We estimate at least 15 carats in total amethyst gemstone weight for the set, at a conservative estimate.
Each piece is marked sterling and the pin is marked BB for the maker.
This set is in great condition. The screw backs are working well and the clasp has a safety latch for added security.
The pin measures 1 3/4 inches wide. Each earring measures 1 1/8 inches long.
