VTG Old Pawn Native American Sterling Silver & Turquoise Totem Pole Necklace
Regular price
$684.00
Presented is a wonderful American Indian sterling silver and turquoise totem pole necklace. This piece probably dates to around the 1950s, with some of the beads being a later addition. The necklace is made up of turquoise heche and cube beads interspersed with various heavy silver beads. At the center of the necklace is a heavy sterling silver pendant of a totem pole, topped with an eagle or thunderbird. The clasp is a hook and eye style, with the 'eye' being an infinity symbol. A very weighty and handsome piece of Native American jewelry.
The pendant and the silver beads are tested and guaranteed sterling silver.
The necklace is in great condition. The necklace has probably been restrung in the past, and we believe the copper, rhinestone, and hematite beads on either side of the pendant are later additions.
The necklace is about 33.5 inches long.
The necklace weighs 255 grams or 9.0 regular ounces.
