Presented is a fine sterling silver serving fork made by Towle Silversmiths. The serving fork is done in elegant the Canterbury pattern which was first produced in 1893. The handle is monogrammed with an S.
The fork is hallmarked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Towle, 925/1000, Sterling Copyrighted.
The condition is excellent. The two center tines are not connected by the little balls in the center of the tines. There are no dents, no dings, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The serving fork is 8 5/8 inches long.
The weight is 62 grams or 2.2 ounces.
