Presented is a lovely S. Kirk & Son sterling silver pedestal bowl. This piece dates to around the 1930s-1950s. The bowl is done in a handsome, classical form, raised on a round pedestal foot. The bowl has a wide band of floral repousse decoration around the rim, beautifully hand chased in high, detailed relief. The flowers and leaves are exceptionally crisp and detailed, against a finely stippled background.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for S. Kirk & Son as well as 32F.
This piece measures about 10 inches in diameter and stands about 4 inches tall.
