Presented is a fantastic hand-made Mexican modernist piedra negra (black stone) brooch/pin from the mid-1900's. This mixed metal (metales casado) pin features a nicely balanced and timeless abstract design in sterling silver and brass over jet black resin. Sterling silver covers the back with a bar pin and rollover clasp.
The back is signed with the maker's initials, "VS", "Hecho En Mexico", and "925". We guarantee the sterling silver purity in this pin for you.
The condition of the pin is excellent, with just minor surface wear. We didn't polish it to it's highest luster, to preserve it's vintage patina, but you could!
