Presented is a fine sterling silver salad fork and spoon set made by Frank W. Smith Silver Company during the early 1900s. This set is in the American Chippendale a.k.a. Lincoln pattern, which was patented in 1905. Both handles have a threaded border and column sort of form. There is a monogram of the initials JCC on the back of each handle. These pieces could of course be used individually as well as together.
The back of each piece is marked with the Frank W. Smith hallmark and sterling.
This set is in fabulous condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The pieces measure 8 3/8 and 8 5/8 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 164 grams or 5.8 ounces.
