Presented is a nice Dutch silver figural spoon which may have been a souvenir spoon for Brussels. The handle is topped with a figure holding a child with two other children standing on the sides. The back of the bowl is monogrammed TCW and engraved Bruxelles, the French spelling of Brussels.
The spoon is hallmarked on the reverse with the dolphin mark for Dutch 833 purity silver and the key export mark. The back of the bowl is also stamped with three pseudo hallmarks.
The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no dings, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The spoon is 7 1/2 inches long.
The weight is 70.9 grams or 2.5 ounces.
