Vintage c1945 Georg Jensen Acanthus Sterling Silver Salad Fork Spoon Set

Presented is a very fine quality, sterling silver salad serving set made by George Jensen of Denmark during the 1940s or 50s. This set is in the Acanthus pattern by Jensen, which was patented in 1917. Each handle has a lovely, swirling acanthus leaf accent at the top. The bowl and tines have a fine hand hammered finish.

Both pieces are marked Georg Jensen, Denmark and sterling.

This set is in fabulous condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.

The spoon measures 9 3/8 inches long, the fork measures 9 5/8 inches long and the combined weight of the pair is 252 grams or 8.8 ounces.
