Presented is a wonderful quality sterling silver carving set done in the Princess Eugene pattern by Alvin. This ornate pattern which was first produced in 1950. This is a turkey or roast sized carving set with sterling silver handles and stainless steel blades or tines.
Both the carving knife and fork are marked with Sterling Handle on the handles and Stainless on the blades or tines.
The condition is excellent. The handles have some surface wear commensurate with age and light use and a few dings here and there, but this is minor. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The carving knife is 13 1/2 inches long.
