Presented is a fine set of three sterling silver serving pieces by Tuttle Silversmiths. These three serving pieces are done in the Lamerie pattern which was first produced in 1936. The pattern was then discontinued. What we are selling in this auction is the new Tuttle LaMerie pattern. This is the heavyweight stuff, much heavier than the older original production. These pieces have never been used. They come from a store that went out of business. Nothing is monogrammed or engraved.
The set includes:
Gravy ladle: 6 1/8 inches long
Sugar spoon: 6 1/8 inches long
Cheese knife or master butter spreader: 6 1/2 inches long
The gravy ladle and the sugar spoon are hallmarked on the reverse with Tuttle and Sterling. The bowl of the ladle in the sugar spoon are also marked with the maker’s mark for Tuttle and the date mark GWB indicating production during George W. Bush’s presidency. The cheese knife or serving knife has all of these hallmarks on the side of the handle. The blade of the knife is stainless steel. All three pieces were made after 2001. The gravy ladle currently sells on many different websites for $339. It is also listed on eBay on several different sites for the same price. This piece is not used. The sugar spoon sells for $170 and the knife sells for at least $99. The lowest price I could find on all three pieces combined was over $608. Our price is significantly below the lowest price I could find anywhere on the Internet or eBay, and our price includes free shipping. This is a great deal!!!!

The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no dings, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
