Presented is a wonderful quality, vintage Finnish silver tray made in 1943. This piece is done in a Georgian style. The raised rim is done in a decorative, floral lobed form and the center has a wonderful monogram of the letters K and S intertwined.
The tray is marked with the Finnish national crown mark, a city mark for Helsinki, 830 for the silver purity, a maker's mark of the initials I.E. and a date symbol of O6 for the year 1943.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There is surface wear to the usable flat surface. Along the edge there are tiny beaded accents between each lobe, one is missing but this is only noticeable upon very close inspection. There are no other flaws and no repairs.
The tray measures 12 1/4 by 9 inches and is 5/8 of an inch tall.
