Vintage 1942 Beautifully Hand Chased Finnish Silver Teapot

Presented is a vintage, Finnish silver teapot made in 1942. This piece is hand chased and beautifully decorated with elaborate festoons of flowers, flourishes and putis or cherubs. The handle is very tight and the lid fits securely in the rim. The outside has been polished to a high finish and the inside is clean and usable. The underside has a monogram of the initials KS. This is a very fine quality piece.
The underside is marked with the Finnish national crown mark, the city mark for Helsinki, 830 for the silver purity, IE for the maker's mark and a date symbol N6 for the year 1942.
This piece is in excellent overall condition and the designs are very crisp. There are no damages and no repairs.
The pot measures 9 1/2 inches from handle to spout and is 8 1/8 inches tall.
