Presented is an antique, 10 karat yellow gold and natural shell cameo pin or brooch made in America around the 1940s or the 1950s. The gold mounting is done in a simple form and the center is bezel set with a wonderful quality, hand carved shell cameo. The cameo depicts the profile of a lovely young woman with flowers on her hair and bust. The clasp has a safety latch for added security.
The clasp is marked 10K. This piece has been tested and is guaranteed to be 10 karat gold purity.
This piece is in very good overall condition for its age. There are tiny dings to the 11 o'clock and the 3 o'clock positions.
