Presented is a wonderful 14 karat yellow gold and hand carved cameo pin made
during the 1910s-30s. The hand carved cameo was made in Italy and the lovely,
engraved 14 karat gold frame was made in America. The cameo depicts a lovely
young woman and the quality of the piece is great. The cameo is securely bezel
set in an octagonal frame that is engraved with bright-cut flourishes.
The back is marked 14K.
This piece is in great condition. There has been a solder repair to the
frame, but it is only really visible from the back of the piece. This repair was
very well done. When viewing the front of the cameo the repair is at the eight
o'clock position. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits and no other repairs.
The pin measures 1 5/8 by 2 1/8 inches.
The total weight is 15.3 grams.
