Vintage 14K Rose Gold & Large Faceted Amethyst Brooch/Pin Pendant

Presented is an exquisite, 14 karat rose gold and amethyst brooch/pin or pendant of good weight. There is a hinged bale or loop for hanging the pin as a pendant. The piece is done in an interesting stepped or tiered form. The center is securely bezel set with a large, faceted amethyst. The stone is surrounded by applied gold granulated wires and beads.

 It is hard to measures the stone exactly because of the bezel setting but it measures approximately 20.4 by 15.7 by 9 millimeters and is 15.3 carats. The clasp has a plunger style safety for added security.

The back is marked 14K. Tested and guaranteed.

This piece is in fabulous overall condition. There are no breaks and no repairs.

The pin measures 1 1/8 by 1 1/4 inches and weighs 13.2 grams.
