Presented is a set of 4 Victorian sulphide glass and brass curtain tie backs in a small size. The set displays a bronze outer ring with round thick glass within. The glass has a large red and white 6-pointed star at the center. The brass creates a threaded nob shape with a flattened back end. This shape with the screw end could be used as curtain tie backs or as dresser drawer nob handles. Let the photos be your guide. This set is likely American and made between 1830-1870s.
The tie backs are in great overall condition. The surface of the glass is smooth with crisp decorations. There is some minor corrosion to the metal, but can certainly be cleaned up. There are no breaks and no repairs.
