Presented is a lovely little 14 karat rose gold bar pin made during the 1880s or
90s. This piece is simple yet classical in design. The middle is in a ruffled
flower form and is set with an old rose cut diamond. The edge of the flower
design is enameled with a black border. The old, C style clasp has been
reinforced with a secure locking mechanism.
This piece has been tested with nitric acid and is guaranteed to be 14 karat
purity.
This pin is in good overall condition for its age. There are some tiny chips
to the enamel and there is a chip to the diamond, but these damages are only
visible when the piece is closely inspected. There are no missing pieces, no
other chips, no cracks and no repairs.
The weight is 3.5 grams.
