Victorian 1878 Wood Hughes Angelo Sterling Silver Gold Fruit Bowl Serving Spoon
Presented is an antique, sterling silver serving spoon made by Wood & Hughes during the late 19th century. This Victorian piece is done in the Angelo pattern. The handle has a cornucopia of flowers and the gold bowl is hand chased with fruits. This piece is quite unusual. All of the chasing to the bowl was done after factory production, this is very rare.
The back is marked for Wood & Hughes, sterling silver, patent 1878 and has a retailer's mark.
This piece is in great overall condition. There are no damages or repairs.
