Vibrant 18k Yellow Gold ~5.3ct Amethyst Diamond Pendant

Presented is a gorgeous 18 karat yellow gold, amethyst and diamond pendant. This is a relatively contemporary piece and is likely of American make. The pendant is prong set with a teardrop cut amethyst measuring about 15.9 by 9.8 millimeters, or about 5.3 carats in weight. The amethyst is a lovely medium purple, a little lighter than some amethysts, beautifully cut to maximize the depth and clarity. Above the amethyst are three modern brilliant cut diamonds of at least SI clarity and G color, totaling about 6-7.5 points. The diamonds complement the vibrant purple amethyst beautifully. The bail of the pendant is a doubled loop design, so it will sit nice and even on a chain. The bail has interior measurements of about 4 by 2.3 millimeters.
