Unique Platinum & 18k Yellow Gold Mabe Pearl Ring Heavy Weight

Presented is a very fine quality, platinum and 18 karat yellow gold ring of heavy weight and good size made during the 1970s or 80s. This piece is most likely European in origin. The center of the ring is set with a large mabe pearl. The band of the ring is platinum and there are alternating platinum and yellow gold rays emanating from the band to the front of the pearl. The rays are textured and act as prongs around the pearl.

The inside is marked 750 for 18 karat gold purity and platinum.

This piece is in fabulous overall condition. There are no flaws and no repairs.

The ring is a size 5 1/2 and it weighs 20.4 grams. We estimate that approximately 80% of the total weight is platinum weight.
