Presented is a vintage Taxco Mexico sterling silver and copper pin or brooch. This piece is completely handcrafted and is done in the form of a stylized elephant. The body is done in sterling silver and the ear is done copper; the majority of this piece is sterling silver. The clasp has a rollover style safety latch.
The back is marked Hecho en Mexico and 925 for sterling silver purity, with the Mexico government hallmark of an eagle and a maker's mark.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There is minimal surface wear, but no damages.
