Presented is a fine quality sterling silver cold meat or serving fork of good weight made by Towle. This piece is in the D’Orleans pattern, which was patented in 1923. The handle has a thick border of design and a flower bouquet in the middle. The tines are engraved with design and there is a monogram on the top of the handle of the initials EW over the letter A.
The back is marked with the Towle hallmark, sterling and patent 1923.
This piece is in virtually mint condition, the designs are very crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The fork measures 9 1/8 inches long and weighs 107.4 grams or 3.8 ounces.
