Presented is a sweet African stone carved mother and child figure, likely made in the last 30 years by Zimbabwean maker, Zachariah Njobo. The stone is full of nice earthy hues and displays a mother holding their child in an embrace. There are carved finger details on the side under the child's head. The stone has a substantial weight.
There is no maker's signature, but we believe this to be by Zachariah Njobo.
The piece has smooth surfaces all around. There is one small scuff on the child's head. There are no breaks, no cracks and no problems of any kind.
