Presented is a sterling silver ice cream slice from Gorham. This piece is in the Poppy pattern, which was patented in 1902. This Art Nouveau pattern displays beautiful flowers and leaves throughout the handle. The blade has a great gold wash on one side of the blade. It doesn't seem as though there was ever a gilding on the other side of the blade.
The slice is marked on the blade with sterling along with the maker's mark for Gorham.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no monograms or monogram removals. The handle is not filled and therefore the entire weight is sterling silver. There are no breaks, splits or cracks and no repairs.
