Presented is an excellent Native American Indian sterling silver gemstone inlay brooch or pendant, in the form of a bird. This is a nice vintage piece of Zuni art, featuring inlay of turquoise, mother of pearl, and red coral. The mother of pearl is in pink, white, and gold shades, to give the bird a very colorful look. The bird is holding a little twig with turquoise 'leaves,' perhaps this is a dove or turtledove. The brooch has a rollover style clasp as well as a loop/bail on the back, so it can be worn as a pendant or pin, however you like.

This piece is signed with a name I can't quite make out. We have tested this piece with nitric acid and guarantee it to be sterling silver.

This piece is in great condition. The inlay is all in great shape. The clasp functions well and closes securely.

The pin measures about 1 1/8 by 1 1/8 inches.

This piece weighs 3.3 grams.
