Presented is a superb set of 5 porcelain plates. These plates are likely of German make, possibly French, and date to the first quarter of the 1900s. The plates are white with a gentle fluted design to the rims, and eye-catching gilt detailing. These plates are about 9 ½ inches in diameter, suitable for use as impressive lunch or dessert plates, though of course you can use them however you like.
This set is in great overall condition. One plate has a very minor hairline, which is only visible to the underside of the rim, extending inwards about one inch. The gilding has some minor wear, but nothing excessive. There are no chips, no other cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. Each plate is about 9 1/2 inches in diameter.-jm
