Presented is a wonderful set of 4 antique German 800 silver teaspoons. These spoons were made by German maker Bruckmann & Sons, but the pattern of the spoons is identical to Arabesque, by Whiting, so these spoons will match an Arabesque table setting very nicely. The Arabesque pattern is an intricate, classically inspired pattern featuring delicate foliate scrollwork interspersed with rosettes and a richly detailed gryphon or dragon as a focal point. The terminals of the handles have an oval cartouche, with a monogram of engraved ALM in fancy script. This set of spoons is in excellent condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each piece is stamped with the German crescent moon and crown hallmark guaranteeing 800 purity silver and the maker's mark for Bruckmann & Sohne.
