Presented is a wonderful quality 14K gold and diamond ring. The ring is set with a high grade, modern round brilliant cut diamond. The stone is approximately 40 points or 4/10 carat in size. The quality of the stone is excellent. It has F-G color and at least VVS clarity. I have not taken it out of the mounting to grade it, but using a 10 power loupe I cannot see any inclusions or imperfections in the stone. It is a really high grade stone. The diamond is bezel set in a white gold or platinum head mounted in a solid, heavy weight 14K yellow gold band. The ring was made in America around the 1930s.
