Presented is a superb Tiffany & Co sterling silver tall compote or tazza, dating to around the 1920s. This tazza is made in an elegant, classic design, with a flared bowl and slender balustroid form shaft. The overall look is very sleek, with all the timeless appeal expected of the Tiffany name. The compote is very well made, and is entirely sterling silver, with no weighting or filling, with a nice feeling of weight and quality for its size.
The underside of the compote is stamped with the Tiffany & Co maker's mark, sterling, and the initial 'm' for the director of the company between 1907-1947, John C. Moore II.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The tazza measures about 5 7/8 inches in diameter and stands about 6 3/8 inches tall at the rim.
