Superb Antique 1918 Tiffany & Co Sterling Silver 1730s Repro Tray 10 1/4"

Presented is a superb quality Tiffany & Co sterling silver serving tray. This piece dates to around 1918, based on the monogram. The tray is done in a classic form, with a Chippendale rim and Queen Anne feet, copying an English form from 1735. The center of the tray is finely engraved with an intricate crest and monogram reading MRJ, beneath a date of 1918.

This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The underside of the piece is stamped with the Tiffany & Co. maker's mark, sterling 925-1000 and the initial 'M' for the company director between 1907-1947, John C. Moore II. The piece is also stamped 'Reproduction Original By Robert Abercromby London 1735' and the diameter, 10 1/4 inches.

This piece weighs 644 grams or 22.7 regular ounces.
