Presented is a wonderful, high end ruby, diamond and 18K gold ring. The ruby is a wonderful color, an absolutely beautiful, pigeon blood red color. The ruby's dimensions are 6.4 x 5.2 millimeters and 3.64 millimeters deep, and the estimated carat weight is at least 1 carat easily, and possibly 1 1/10 carat. The ruby is surrounded with 18 truly beautiful diamonds, G color, VS clarity with a few in the SI range. The diamonds are all modern brilliant round cut, and they are all very securely bezel set. The total diamond weight is approximately 68 points or over 2/3 carat. This is a very high quality ring, very beautiful. It was made in the past 30 years, probably in America.
The ring is marked on the inside of the band with 18K for the gold purity and AZ for the maker's mark.
The condition is excellent. The diamonds are in beautiful shape. There is one tiny abrasion line to the surface of the ruby. If the stone catches the light at just the right angle, you might be able to see it. There is also a very tiny flake to the back of the ruby. This is not visible at all when looking at the ring from the front, even under a light. This is only visible if you flip the ring over and look at the back of the setting with your nose practically touching it. Extremely minor. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, no other chips and no repairs.
The ring is a size 5 3/4. It can be sized up or down.
The ring weighs 7.3 grams.
