Superb 14k Gold & .50ct Diamond Semi Mount Ring Setting for ~6mm Stone Size 6.75

Presented is a stunning 14 karat gold diamond semi-mount ring setting. This is a modern setting. The ring is designed for a round cut stone, with six prongs in the setting. On either side of the empty setting are 16 total baguette cut diamonds, 8 on each side. These are vibrant,  dazzling stones of G-H color and VS-1 to VVS clarity, totaling approximately 40-55 points in weight. The setting measures about 6 millimeters in diameter, measuring from inside the notches, directly across where the stone would sit. Of course the measurements are not hard and fast requirements for the stone size, as a jeweler can manipulate the prongs to accommodate a variety of sizes, but these measurements give a general idea. The head of the ring, where the stone would be set, could be swapped out for a different shape or size setting by a jeweler, easily enough.

The ring is in great condition. The diamonds are securely set with no chips. The prongs are in great shape. There are no breaks and no repairs.

The band is stamped 14kp meaning 14 karat plumb, or exact, with a maker's mark of EREV and a serial number of AA9593

The ring is a size 6 3/4.

The ring weighs 4.8 grams.
