Stylish VTG 14k Gold Ruby Lamppost Street Lamp Bourbon Street Pin Brooch
Regular price
$540.00
Presented is a stylish 14 karat gold and ruby pin or brooch in the shape of a lamppost. This piece dates to around the 1950s and was made in America. The pin is done in a fairly realistic form, with a teardrop cut ruby to represent the red flame in the lamp. Hanging from the side of the lamppost is a blank sign like those seen on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, meant to be engraved with whatever presentation, monogram, or inscription you like.
The pin is in great condition. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The pin is stamped 14k on the back as well as on the clasp, with a stamp of patent pending on the back of the lamp housing. The entirety of the piece is 14 karat gold, nitric acid tested and guaranteed. The pin is about 1 7/8 inches long.
The pin weighs 9.1 grams.
