Presented is a superb quality 14 karat yellow gold and diamond ring. This ring dates to around the 1950s, and was likely made in America. The head of the ring is done in a striking rectangular form, set in one corner with a modern brilliant cut diamond, in a white gold setting so the stone really stands out. The diamond is about 10-12 points in weight or about 3 millimeters in diameter, of SI2-I1 clarity and I color. The rest of the face of the ring has a diamond cut design, radiating outward from the center rather than from the diamond, for an interesting asymmetrical look. The shoulders of the ring have a rich Florentine finish, for an extra stylish textural element.
This ring is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.
This ring is in excellent condition. The details of the florentine finish and the radiating design on the face of the ring are nice and crisp. The diamond is well set with no chips.
