Stylish Pair Gorham Sterling Silver Jensen Style Double Arm Candelabra

Presented is a beautiful pair of Gorham sterling silver two light candelabra, dating to around the 1920s-1930s. The candlesticks are made in a wonderful Danish-inspired style reminiscent of the work of Georg Jensen, with socles like stylized blossoms and a central floral design between the arms, like a stylized flower bud supported by scrolled leaves. These are lovely handwrought pieces, with the marks of hand hammering visible most notably on the socles and bases, catching the light nicely.
Each candlestick is stamped on the underside with the Gorham maker's mark as well as sterling, E559, and 'cement-loaded.' This pair of candlesticks is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The candlesticks measure about 9 3/4 inches across the arms and stand about 7 1/8 inches tall.
The total weight for the pair is 1302 grams, or 45.9 regular ounces (2.9 pounds). Due to the weighting/filling, not all of this weight is sterling silver. -jm
