Regular price
$734.00
Presented is a fantastic pair of vintage or retro 14 karat yellow gold and sapphire cufflinks. The cufflinks were made in America and date to around the 1930s. These cufflinks are made in a an elongated elliptical form, each set with an oval cabochon of sapphire. The gold has a finely done textured finish reminiscent of wood grain or the like, but with the shape and with the sapphires in the middle the overall effect is a bit like an eye. The cufflinks have bar type backs with an elegant twist design, connected to the fronts with chain links.
This pair of cufflinks is in excellent condition. The sapphires are well set and in great shape, with no chips. The textured design is nice and crisp.
Each cufflink is stamped 14k on the loop attaching the toggle back. We have tested all parts with nitric acid and guarantee them to be 14 karat gold.
Each cufflink is about 7/8 of an inch long for the head and for the toggle, with about 3/4 of an inch gap between head and toggle.
The total weight for the pair 5.7 grams. -jm
