Regular price
$857.00
Presented is a stylish antique 18 karat white gold and diamond ring. This ring dates to circa 1910-1930 and was made in America. The ring is set with a transitional cut diamond about 3.5 millimeters in diameter, or about 12 points in weight. This is a vibrant, sparkling diamond of SI clarity and H color. The ring is done in a very striking geometric style, typical of the Art Deco period to which it dates, with the head/shoulders of the ring forming a pyramid and the top down view of the ring being an octagon. The sides are done in a paneled design, very finely engraved with alternating textures, which capture the light almost as beautifully as the diamond. The ring is quite well made and has a nice feeling of weight and quality to it.
The ring is stamped 18k. We have tested the ring with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 18 karat gold. This piece is in excellent condition. The diamond is well set with no chips. The engraving of the setting is nice and crisp.
The ring is a size 9.
The head of the ring measures about 10.2 millimeters north to south while the band measures about 2.9 millimeters wide at the narrowest point.
This ring weighs 5.6 grams. -jm
