Presented is a superb pair of 14 karat gold Wedgwood medallion cufflinks. These cufflinks date to around the 1970s and were made in England. Each cufflink consists of a round medallion of tri-color Wedgwood jasperware in white, black, and sage green. The medallions feature a design of a classical Greco-Roman figure of a woman playing a lyre, likely a muse.
The cufflinks are in great condition. The Wedgwood medallions are securely set, with no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. The toggle backs function well.
The cufflinks are signed Wedgwood as well as Made in England, on the back of the porcelain portion. The toggles are marked 14k. All of the frame/setting is 14 karat gold, nitric acid tested and guaranteed.
Each cufflink is about 1 1/8 inches in diameter on the face, with about a ½ an inch gap between the back and the toggle.
The total weight for the pair is 14.3 grams.
