Presented is a gorgeous 14 karat gold, diamond, onyx and mother-of-pearl of pearl suite, consisting of a pair of earrings and a pendant. The pendant is done in a looped shape like a cursive capital S. The earrings are done in the same design on a smaller scale. The pendant is set with 12 modern brilliant cut diamonds, averaging 3.5-4 points each in size, of VS clarity and G color. Each earring is set with 6 modern brilliant cut diamonds of about 1.5 points each in size, of VS clarity and G-H color. The total diamond weight for the set is about 60-66 points, or about two-thirds of a carat. The diamonds are vibrant, dazzling stones, very clean and fiery, in an open channel setting so nothing gets in the way of their shine. On the other curve of the pendant and of the earrings are panels of black onyx and iridescent white mother-of-pearl, very attractive in its stark contrast of colors. The earrings have omega style backs with posts, for pierced ears. The pendant would be strung on a chain via the top loop of the design, which is large enough to accommodate a wide variety of chain sizes and styles.
This set is in great condition. The diamonds are all well set and in good shape, with no chips. The onyx and mother-of-pearl is likewise all intact and in good shape, with no chips. The earrings have good strong spring mechanism.
Each earring is stamped 14k and with a maker's mark of NGL.
The pendant is about 1 1/2 inches long. Each earring is about 3/4 of an inch long.
The total weight for the set is 12.6 grams.
