Presented is a stylish sapphire and diamond ring in 14 karat gold. The ring is done in an elegant bypass style, set with a central oval faceted sapphire with three diamonds on either side. The sapphire is a real mined-from-the-ground stone, with rich blue color, measuring about 65-70 points in size. The six diamonds are all modern brilliant cuts, measuring about 2 points each in size, very vibrant and lively stones. The overall design almost suggests an eye, like the traditional Mediterranean/Middle Eastern amulet against the evil eye, called a nazar, but I'm not sure if this is intentional.
The ring is in great condition. The stones are securely set. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The band is stamped and guaranteed 14k and has a maker's mark which is unfortunately too worn to read.
The ring is a size 6 1/2 .
The ring weighs 3.3 grams.
