Presented is a wonderful pair of earrings set with moon stones and citrines. These were made in America between 1945-1955. The citrines are cabochon stones in the form of lozenges about 13 millimeters long. The moonstones are round cabochons. The stones are set in a very sturdy, heavy gold setting.
The earrings are marked on the screwbacks with 14K for 14K gold purity. We have tested the gem settings and the screwbacks with nitric acid and guarantee them to be 14K gold. The condition is excellent. The stones are all in wonderful condition and very securely set. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, no chips and no repairs. The earrings measure approximately 5/8 inches long and 3/4 inches wide.The earrings weigh 7.6 grams.
