Presented is a stunning glass or crystal Pairpoint tazza/compote from the late-1800s to mid-1900s. This piece has an interesting silver-plated base; however, much of the silver has been worn to show the exposed brass. The glass has been hand-cut on the underside to display gorgeous flowers, berries, and leaves in a circular pattern around the piece. The metal base displays a scroll pattern. The piece stands on three cast and applied animal feet.
The underside of the tazza is marked Best Plate along with the maker's mark for Pairpoint and a product number.
This tazza is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or breaks. The details and designs are crisp and clean. There are no breaks or repairs.
