Presented is a stunning French hand-painted portrait in a brass frame from the mid-late 1800s. This piece has gorgeous detailing and very impressive artistry. There is a signature on the right side which reads, “Paulin”. The frame is tight to the portrait so it does not move within the frame. The frame has an elegant beaded pattern and a ribbon top. The back of the frame has a loop to hang the portrait and a hinged stand so that it may stand up on its own.
This piece is in excellent condition. There is a small rip in the fabric on the back, but this doesn't affect the security of the frame. There are no monogram, no monogram removals, no breaks and no repairs. The portrait is crisp; details are still very sharp.
