Stunning Large 18k Gold Naturalistic Opal Diamond & Ruby Pendant

Presented is a stunning 18 karat gold, opal, diamond and ruby pendant. This
is a modern piece, very likely custom made. The pendant is set with a large
piece of white opal in a naturalistic shape with its organic contours intact.
The opal is a beautiful stone, with gorgeous flashes of green, blue and orange
fire, more vibrant in person than the photos can show. The heavy 18 karat gold
setting is studded with modern brilliant cut diamonds at the top and bottom,
with individual bezel set rubies and diamonds along the side and in a flower
design on top of the opal. There are 45 total diamonds, about 1.5 points each in
size, sparkling stones of VS-1 to SI-1 clarity and H/I color, most of which are
set in white gold so they really pop. There are 9 rubies, beautiful rich red
stones. The design is unique and eye-catching, and this is a very attractive
piece of jewelry guaranteed to make a statement.

The pendant is in great condition. The opal, rubies and diamonds are securely
set. The opal does have some crazing to both its front and back surface. This is
common for opal, and the stone is still structurally stable, particularly in its
bezel setting. There are no breaks and no repairs.  

The pendant is stamped on the inside of the back with 18k/750 and a
maker's mark we unfortunately do not recognize. The back of the pendant is also
stamped 18k.

The pendant measures about 1 3/4 by 1 1/2 inches.

This piece weighs 23.2 grams.
