Presented is a stunning 18K gold ring topped with a green jade cabochon. The jade is securely prong set in a heavy weight, deep yellow 18K gold setting. The jade measures approximately 12 millimeters by 16.5 millimeters. The gold setting is beautifully done with openwork all around the stone, a rope twist border around the edges, and fancy scrolls on the side of the shank. The ring was made in Europe, almost certainly in Italy.
The ring is marked 750 on the applied tag on the underside of the stone. We have tested the ring with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 18K gold.
The condition is excellent. There are no chips, no cracks, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The top of the ring measures approximately 21 millimeters by 24 millimeters or 7/8 inch by 1 inch.
